You can make this 3 ingredient whipped cream using a mini food chopper. I am sharing a short cut to easy whipped cream. Real, homemade whipped cream. I never knew how simple it was to make.
I thought I had to make do with store bought from the freezer whipped non dairy topping. Have you read the ingredients in that stuff? No real cream there. The taste is inferior to say the least. Then I discovered that my mini chopper could make real whipped cream in only a few minutes.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
With just three ingredients, you’ll have homemade whipped cream in less than 4 minutes. Using cold heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract along with a mini food processor, you will have delicious and fresh whipped cream to serve with your favorite dessert in no time at all.
What Is A Mini Food Chopper
A mini food chopper is a miniature food processor. It holds around two cups and comes with a single chopping blade. It has one speed.
I use mine for making whipped cream, chopping nuts, pureeing bananas, chopping onions and more. I use it nearly every day. Plus it is light and small enough that I keep it in a cabinet. So, it doesn’t have to stay out on the counter top. It’s really easy to grab when I need it.
How To Make Whipped Cream In A Mini Food Chopper
- Set up the mini food chopper with the bowl and blade attached. Pour one cup cold heavy whipping cream into the chopper bowl.
- Add two tablespoons powdered sugar. Place the lid on the mini food chopper. Pulse for one minute.

- Add one teaspoon of pure vanilla extract. Pulse for a few seconds just till blended.
- Remove the lid from the mini food chopper. Take a spoon and check if there are soft peaks. The whipped cream should cling to the spoon. You should see small peaks.

If the whipped cream isn’t stiff enough, pulse for an additional thirty seconds. Don’t over blend or you’ll wind up with butter. Or at worst, grainy whipped cream.

Hi Mary Ann,
