It is snowing again in April! Just days before Easter. So, I had to bring my Easter Brunch Tablescape inside from the screened in porch. Using the bunny egg cups and white wooden chargers, I created my Easter Dinner Tablescape. I will recreate my Easter Brunch table again come Easter morning.
I placed my Easter Eggs Planters in the wooden box I made at Christmas. I don’t have a lot of spring decor items so I try to reuse and repurpose as much as I can imagine.
I love bunny figurines. I decorated both my children’s nurseries in bunnies.
I added the bunnies on each end of the box with the planters next and a tall candlestick in the middle. I like how this came together. The little faux chocolate bunny on the table reminds me of cast iron and is about as heavy.
The dishes are from Pfaltzgraff many years ago. They are so bright and cheerful. I used napkins as placemats. I like the idea of using items in unexpected ways. They are perfect for spring. I used jelly jars with paper napkins and silverware. Of course I had to include my bunny cups. They make me smile.
I only bring out my stemmed water goblets for special occasions. Our everyday glasses are tumblers. I just think stemmed glasses make a meal a little more formal .
This tablescape will stay put till Easter regardless of what the weather decides to do. I am hoping for warm pretty weather this weekend. I am looking forward to our family eating together this Sunday, enjoying a home cooked meal in a lovely setting.
