Putting together these Easter Eggs Planters was so easy and fast to put together. I just love how they turned out. So cute and perfect for spring. These planters make me smile. So cheery. I plan on using them on my Easter Table.
This was a fairly inexpensive project. I bought the little planters at Walmart. The sculpted details are so pretty. The moss and floral foam came the Dollar Tree. Love the dollar store for crafting. I got the speckled faux Easter eggs from World Market.
The floral foam discs are the perfect size for these planters. They are a little bigger than the opening. I just pushed a disc into the top of each planter. Pushing the foam down about an inch into the planter. Most of the foam disc sticks out of the planter.
Then I hot glued the moss onto the floral foam till it was covered. Moss is messy. I put a straight pin through the back of each of the faux Easter eggs and stuck them to the foam. I may end up gluing the eggs to the moss instead. My straight pins are not really long enough to secure them to the foam.
I love fast and easy projects like this. All ready for my Easter Tablescape. What projects are your favorite for quick and easy decorating?
