My family room is decorated for Easter with a bunny or two. I just added a few touches on each table and the mantel. I think it is just enough. Plus it is very simple. I love simplicity.
Here is the whole room. The mantel has a fresh meadow candle in the wrought iron holder. It’s from Yankee Candle. The scent is very springy. I also used my Easter Egg Planters that I crafted last year. You can see how to make them here.
I added a galvanized lantern that is topped by a lovely little bird.
There are two different metals used in this room. Galvanized and wrought iron. I don’t know which I like best. I’d rather not choose between the two.
I think they work well together.
I placed one little faux chocolate bunny to the tray on my coffee table.
On the table behind the sectional couch is the rest of my bunny collection. Oh, I know. Big collection. Remember I love simplicity.
The Easter subway art was made with my Cricut using the Word Collage cartridge. I made this several years ago. I still enjoy the bright white and blue. The subway art was simply spray painted over a vinyl stencil cut with the Cricut.
I put a tall bunny next to an empty white pitcher in the galvanized tray. The other bunny blends well with the subway art with his blue bow.
A parting shot of the family room. This room is surrounded by french doors and windows. So there is a lot of light, making it the perfect room to read.
I have lots of pillows to snuggle up to. If you get cold, I have a couple of throws to cover up in. You just never know with the spring here in Tennessee.
