I love decorating for fall. The air turns crisp and the leaves turn beautiful shades of gold and red. I will miss summer though. Each season is special. Even cold, cold winter.
To celebrate this fall, I have created a new chalkboard fall printable for this year. I have used the words that bring cozy memories of the past. All these things speak fall to me. Printables are so much fun to decorate with. You can download last year’s printable in this post.
To recreate this look, you will need :
- 12 x 12 burlap covered canvas frame, I found mine at Hobby Lobby.
- Fall Printable 2014
- paper stapler
Print and trim the fall printable. Place the fall printable on the burlap covered canvas. Lay pieces of ribbon over the trimmed edges of the printable. Staple the ribbon to the back of the canvas frame. Ready to display. Easy and inexpensive art.
I have added a few pieces to this wall where I hung the wood shim patchwork art I made over the summer. This wall is coming together slowly. I like adding new found objects to this wall. Lots of room for creativity.
I put my new fall printable sign with my white pumpkins. And an owl perched overlooking the vignette. Fall is upon us. I didn’t change it up much from last year. I still used the tiered baskets and white pumpkins. I elevated the pumpkins this year. I think the varying heights add more interest to this vignette.
I have finished decorating the family room for fall. I still have some finishing touches needed for the kitchen and dining room. I’m not sure how many more rooms I will decorate.
Have you started decorating for fall? I hope you enjoy my fall printable. I would love to hear from you on how you used it.
