Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is absolutely delicious. A dish I thought I could only get in a restaurant. Alfredo sauce just sounded so difficult. Was I wrong. Alfredo sauce is probably one of the easiest sauces I have ever made. Four ingredients are all you need for this scrumptious sauce. Four, can you believe it? Heavy cream, parmesan cheese, butter and garlic.
I never said this was low calorie.
Do not use jarred Alfredo sauce. There is no comparison. None. Do not use jarred Alfredo sauce. Got it?
You will thank me for this sauce. Your family will go nuts when you whip this recipe up for a week night dinner. There will be no leftovers with this dish.
I use frozen chicken tenders. This way there is no cutting involved. Keepin’ it simple. I also use frozen garlic cubes that Walmart carries in the vegetable section. I love using these cubes since I don’t use garlic that often. The cubes are already minced and ready to go. Boxed pasta which I always keep in the pantry. I buy shaved parmesan cheese in the dairy section. I find the shaved parmesan melts very well. Again, this keeps it easy .
This is one pan cooking, at it’s finest.
This recipe is very versatile. Add as much chicken or broccoli as you want. I use 1/2 box of pasta. The pasta will absorb a lot of the sauce. Serve with french bread and a green salad. Yum.
