I have discovered an easy way to organize your travel bag. Packing Cubes! Containers that will keep you organized on your trip.
Last week was our spring break. We traveled to Destin, Florida. It was lovely although a little chilly. Opening the sliding door to the sound of crashing waves each morning was my favorite part of the trip. Very calming. However, getting ready for the trip or any trip for that matter is my least favorite part.
I dislike packing. So, when I find a product that will help me pack and stay organized during my trip, I am all over it. I found these packing cubes by Eagle Creek at the Container Store. They are durable, washable and come in a variety of sizes. The main reason I like them is I can pack all my undergarments in the medium size packing cube, tops in the large size and shorts in another large size. Or however you want to organize your clothing. I can fit three packing cubes in my Vera Bradley Weekender.
I was able to pack a week’s worth of clothes in my Weekender using the packing cubes. Plus, I didn’t unpack during my week long travel. I could reach into my bag and pick a packing cube that held whatever garments I needed without rummaging through my bag. This also kept my clothes wrinkle free. Now I wouldn’t recommend these for business wear but casual clothes, absolutely.
I have packed my last three trips using the packing cubes. I still dislike packing but I love being organized during my stay. Anything to make travelling easier.
