Welcome to my fall porch. Pumpkins, mums and my burlap wreath make me happy. You can see how I made my burlap wreath here . The urns are just the right touch for the mums. The mums are bronze and are now beginning to open. Fall colors are so inviting. Oh there’s a scarecrow hanging on the side to invite you to sit and visit.
Come and rock while watching the birds and squirrels play. You can lean back on my fall pillow and relax. Listen to the quiet. Maybe hear a leaf or two falling. Admire the changing colors of autumn.
I sewed my pillow out of burlap for the front and a soft cotton for the back. I machine embroidered the wreath of leaves then added the plaid ribbon to frame it. I applied the ribbon with Steam A Seam. That way there are no visible stitches on the ribbon.
We are ready to welcome visitors for pumpkin pie and a cup of coffee. Oh, the pumpkin spice coffee is out in stores now. Hmmm, my favorite.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day. Come again!!!
