Here in Tennessee, we”ll have another month of summer. We’ve had lots of rain and not really the heat that we are used to which has meant less humidity. That has been a welcome relief. The flowers have not thrived in all the wet conditions. Most have died but luckily one of our rose bushes is blooming profusely. The roses are beautiful. I just had to cut some of the blooms to enjoy them in our screened porch.
I put them in a vase that is supposed to look like mercury glass. I added the birds and a candle to my white tray. The candle is from Bath and Bodyworks called Poolside. It smells fantastic. If you haven’t tried these candles, pick up a couple during the next sale. I also got the candle sleeve from them. I love the silver and white with the roses being the only pop of color.
It’s hard saying goodbye to summer with all the lovely gardens and outdoor activities. But fall will soon be here. Meaning I’ll have to trade in the tank tops for sweaters. Plus enjoying the changing colors of the leaves. I love the seasons here in Tennessee. They are each entirely different and beautiful.
I hope you are enjoying the last of your summer. Plus enjoying the beginning of football season which always means fall.
